to pratcise speaking with your kid?

I've been learning English for many years, but I feel there's still a long way to go for me to communicate freely with native people.

My son have been practising with foreigner from last year, and now he can carry simple conversation with foreign teacher. He's more dare to speak, although there's many mistakes in his speaking. But I think he is realy better than me.

During his practising progress, I discover the problem for him to speak is lack of vocabulary and grammar sense, and the problem for me to speak is too shy to speak and the logic thinking is still in Chinese sytle. Language barrier is really difficult to overcome.

Sometimes I think of joining his English class for practising, but I think if there is only one adult in his class, that will be embarrassed both for him and for me.

So I wonder if there is anybody has the same idea with me, that is to practise with our kidS?

maybe our learning way - pay more attention to gramma, write to influence on oral. i find sometime  i'm difficult to use the correct words to express something, like as
LZ said "logic thinking is still in Chinese sytle".

we pay too much emphasis on the exact use of grammar. When I want to say something, more often than not, I think about the sentence structure first, and I am afraid that I am saying something awful in grammar sense or using the wrong words.

But for my son, when he wants to say something, he is just to say something, more attention is paid to the meaning that he wants to express. That's good I think. Language is a communication tool, first of all, it should be used to express meaning, not the sentence structure.

hehe. now when I speak with foreigner , I do not care the gramma, structure, i'm worrying about whether they're really know what i said or not, especially sometime explain something to them.

when talking with foreigners, sometimes I don't know how to express. I think it's largely due to the English learning lesson that we have had in the past. We are taught many things academically, but few for daily communication, so I feel at a loss most times.

Sometimes I think maybe it's a good chance for me to pracitise with my son from the basic speaking level..

Reading is the only way to improve English. As all the books are designed for natives, if u do read plenty of books, oral should be quite easy..

I've sent message to you.
the cost is for each time that we need to pay to the foreigner, not for each kid..

Could you kindly send me the message about the foreigner teacher too? I wanna practcis speaking English with my kid too:) There is no oppotunity to speak English in the daily work and life, I wonder I can not open my mouth to speak English now:(
By the way, I don't agree with you about what you think.
Most time, The people always think others will pay attention to sth, in fact, he/she is the only one who mind it. if you have this oppotunity, go ahead to grasp it, GO![tt8].

the foreigner who are teaching my son is very busy now. I am not sure that he has more free time or not. According to the time table that he sent to me he has a very tight time schedule.
I'm sorry I'm cooking now. Maybe we could talk about it later..
